The ash cloud from the vulcano near Eyjafjallajokull is still causing trouble.

Eurocontrol still keeps the european airspace closed because of safety reasons and thousands of people are stranded at airports all over Europe.

A computer model shows how the ash cloud will spread in Europe and most intercontinental flights to the US & Canada are still not possible.

The volcano eruption at Eyjafjallajokull still blocks European airspace.

This is a special and unique situation never seen before in the history of civil aviation.
