TweetDeck & 10 column limit
I am Twittering some time now. At first I started to follow just some friends, but later on I followed more and more people/services because of my interest in things (see about).
TweetDeck is a useful tool to help me follow all the Tweets, but it has it’s limits.. like the 10 column limit!
One column (1) is used for “All friends”, one (2) for “Replies”, one (3) for “Direct messages”, one (4) for “Favorites”, one (5) for “Twitscoop” (I like to be informed) and I want one (6) column be available for searches. So that leaves only 4 columns that can be used..
Of course I did ask @TweetDeck to increase the amount of columns, and the answer was “yep”, but that was some time ago and.. I still need the extra columns.
In the mean time, I am looking for a smart way to organize my Tweets and maybe YOU can help me? Any advise?
XMMS & streams
Om lekker naar streams te kunnen luisteren, gebruik ik XMMS.
Maar.. er is een kleine instelling die je wel ff moet maken voordat dit allemaal gaat:
Problems with XMMS & streams? Maybe this is your solution:
There’s a checkbox to enable streaming titles in the Preferences menu of XMMS. Like Entranced said, it does ship with streaming title support disabled:
1. Load XMMS and press Ctrl-P to go to the Preferences menu
2. On the Audio I/O Plugins tab, select the “MPEG Layer 1/2/3 Player” Input plugin and press the Configure button
3. On the Streaming tab, in the section marked “SHOUT/Icecast”, enable the checkbox next to “Enable SHOUT/Icecast title streaming”.That stopped the 404 errors and allowed me to listen to the streams again.
